Here in Columbus,
Where the mighty Olentangy,
Meets the Scioto,
In the middle of Ohio,
This is Buckeye Country,
Day after day,
It is no surprise,
They come ready to play,
With hopes of victory in their eyes,
They work hard,
They do their best,
As anyone will attest,
The fans cheer them on,
Loud and strong,
They rock the scarlet and gray,
They rock it all the way,
The noise fills the stadium,
As the team takes the field,
Their strength is revealed,
They don’t give up,
They don’t give in,
They stay focused,
They came to win,
At Ohio State,
You can hardly wait,
For the game to start,
It is hard to sit still,
Watching the Buckeyes play,
Is such a thrill,
Each time you come,
It writes like a story,
You hope at the end is filled with glory,
When you come to Columbus,
I would want to say it bluntly,
This is Buckeye Country.
